The Martin Logan Purity uses electrostatic technology. The advantage here is that there is a single panel which reproduces the entire audible range of frequencies. This means there are no crossover points, or parts of the frequency that are doubled up, or left out altogether depending on the design of the speakers’ crossover. The Puritys are a hybrid of a conventional speaker and electrostatic speaker, meaning it uses conventional woofers to handle all of its low end frequencies. The advantage here is that the speaker doesn’t have to be ginormous and will fit in most people’s living rooms.

The Puritys also feature a built in amplifier. This allows the use to either use his/her own amplifier, or the built in amplifier.
